A vulnerability in the new iPhone that was discovered in June has now been fixed with an OS upgrade (v 3.0.1) from Apple. The update can be downloaded through the usual Update check button via iTunes. The potential hack can allegedly implant malicious code into the iphone OS via SMS messaging.

Apple has released the new 3.0 operating software for current generation iPhone 3G.
It can be downloaded via iTunes 8 ‘Check for Update’ function.
Features include MMS, Cut, Copy & Paste (finally), voice memos and landscape keyboard.
